Through the IMHIPP Green Housing Project, MHSR delivered integrated community-based HIV, STI, and GBV services to people across diverse and marginalized communities. The intervention focused on HIV/AIDS testing and linkage to care, STI screening and referral for treatment, and GBV case finding and referral to appropriate support services.

MHSR tested over 1,500 community members across their diversities and identified over 500 new cases requiring further care and support. These newly identified cases were successfully linked to appropriate care and treatment services, while individuals diagnosed with or requiring management for STIs were referred for treatment and follow-up care. The project also supported the identification of GBV cases and strengthened referral pathways to relevant medical, psychosocial, protection, and other essential services.

The project significantly expanded access to early HIV and STI diagnosis, treatment, and care, particularly among underserved and marginalized populations. By taking services directly into communities, MHSR contributed to earlier identification of health needs, improved linkage to care, and stronger referral systems for individuals requiring ongoing support.

The project reinforced MHSR’s commitment to bringing accessible, integrated, and community-centered health services closer to vulnerable populations, while advancing timely diagnosis, treatment, referral, and holistic support for people in their diversities.
