Our Aims & Objectives

Advocate for increased access to quality healthcare, human rights protections, and essential resources for marginalized and most-at-risk populations. Through evidence-based engagement and strategic partnerships, MHSR works to influence policies and practices that promote equity, inclusion, and social justice.

Promote equity, dignity, and social inclusion by addressing stigma, discrimination, and structural barriers to healthcare and human rights. MHSR prioritizes mental health, psychosocial support, and rights-based interventions to improve quality of life and foster social change.

Provide accessible, client-centered healthcare services, including HIV and STI prevention, testing, treatment, and referral services, through innovative technologies and community-led approaches that address the unique needs of marginalized populations.

Generate, document, and disseminate evidence-based research and best practices to inform policies, improve program implementation, and drive sustainable systemic change for marginalized communities.

Strengthen the knowledge, skills, and resilience of individuals and communities to effectively navigate healthcare systems, exercise their rights, and contribute to sustainable improvements in personal and community well-being.

Facilitate access to accurate, evidence-based human rights information, education, and response mechanisms that empower marginalized and most-at-risk populations to understand, claim, and protect their rights.

Build and sustain strategic partnerships with Funders/Donors, civil society organizations, government agencies, development partners, and community stakeholders to strengthen collective impact and advance shared goals.

Promote comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) education by equipping individuals with accurate information, practical skills, and rights-based knowledge to make informed decisions about their health, relationships, bodily autonomy, and overall well-being.

Create and maintain safe, inclusive, and supportive environments that provide protection, psychosocial support, rehabilitation, and access to essential services for vulnerable and victimized individuals.
